I got a package in the mail yesterday. Sadly it wasn’t the package I was expecting — my Scary-Go-Round “Oh Beowulf” poster. Instead it was a fairly inexplicable pack of playing cards branded with the Local 83 logo. Apparently the John Mayer fan club decided to mail me a deck of playing cards, with no explanation given. Very strange, and while playing cards are always good to have around — you never know when a game of Euchre might break out — I’d rather have my poster.
