The fourth outing for Roktoberfest 2009 found me back at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor, this time to see prog jammers Umphrey’s McGee.

The second round of Roktoberfest 2009 took place on a Thursday night at the wonderful Ark in Ann Arbor. Playing was up and coming bluegrass band Greensky Bluegrass.

Starting last Tuesday and running until mid-November I will be attending on average approximately one concert a week. Casting about for a catchy name to describe this oddity I settled on Roktoberfest 2009. The first band on the docket? The Silversun Pickups playing at the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids.
